Tanya is a former journalist and communications professional with experience across media, education, and development sectors. She specializes in leading digital campaigns, developing social media strategies, and managing media relations.

Prior to joining NRDC India, she worked with J-PAL South Asia where she led digital communications strategy for various initiatives, led event communications, and supported content development for the policy and scale-ups verticals.

Tanya holds a master’s degree in Media Governance from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and a bachelor's degree in English Literature from University of Delhi.
