Akash Goenka comes with deep knowledge on cooling and energy efficiency. His experience includes working on international energy efficiency initiatives, national cooling action plans, and developing data-driven energy policy solutions. Prior to working at NRDC India, Akash worked with the Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Akash played a key role in the development of the India Cooling Action Plan and has contributed to efforts in benchmarking building energy performance, advancing energy disclosure policies, and supporting international climate agreements such as the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol and Doubling Global Energy Efficiency Progress by 2030.
