Nitish Arora is an economist with close to 10 years’ experience in policy research, evaluating welfare programs and building clean tech businesses across the domains of renewable energy, mobility, construction & infrastructure development and circular economy. He has played an instrumental role in shaping India's circular economy strategy. Nitish’s work has had him partner with governments and businesses to mainstream electric mobility in India. He has acted as an advisor to several state governments on their electric vehicle policies. In the corporate sector he led Strategic Alliances, Merger and Acquisitions and Government Relations for Ola Electric, Lithium Urban Technologies and Hero MotoCorp's brand VIDA.
He has also been associated with several startups and led fundraising for some of the direct-to-consumer brands and clean technology ventures. Nitish began his career with The Energy and Resources Institute a researcher and public policy advocate and also had a short stint with NRDC earlier where he led the work on electric mobility in India.
