Shilpi brings over 29 years of experience in the development sector, with expertise spanning field-level program implementation and core human resource development and management. Prior to joining NRDC, she served as a Associate Director - Human Resources at The Nature Conservancy, Head-People and Organizational Development at WaterAid India, and Human Resource (HR) Business Partner at CARE India.
Throughout her career, Shilpi has contributed to a wide range of HR functions including planning, policy design and implementation, change management, compensation and benefits, conflict management and emergency response. She believes that compassion and respect are fundamental to effective people management and she enjoys travelling and meeting people.
Shilpi is a postgraduate with qualifications in Management and Law.
