Siddharth is a clean energy and climate policy professional with over 14 years of experience working at the intersection of policy, philanthropy, and market development in India’s energy transition. His work focuses on program strategy, policy reform, and building partnerships between governments, industry, and international institutions.
Prior to joining NRDC India, Siddharth held strategic roles at Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation, the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, and Grant Thornton Bharat, where he led program design and managed multi-million-dollar initiatives on clean power, grid integration, offshore wind, and emerging energy technologies. Earlier, he worked with India’s electricity regulators (CERC and MERC), contributing to renewable energy regulations, grid reform initiatives, and market frameworks supporting renewable energy deployment.
Siddharth holds an MBA in Power Management from the National Power Training Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering from BITS Pilani.
